NEDFYS is collaborating with several community partners to provide comprehensive mental health services and build support networks for Hispanic immigrant youth and families in DuPage County who have suffered significant trauma and loss and are adjusting to a new culture in the United States

Community Youth Service (CYS) Programs

​NEDFYS has a strong partnership with the Henry Hyde Resource Center (HHRC) in Addison and the Addison Public Library to host our Community Youth Service (CYS) programs. These programs target youth ages 11 to 14 and focus on academic achievement, higher education, community service projects, and connection to local community resources.

Community Presentations

At NEDFYS, we value our ability to connect with the community through training and workshops. Training and workshops are conducted by NEDFYS staff and are tailored to focus on our agency impact, mental health disorders, and community-based violence prevention issues.

Some groups we have presented include:
