Ashley Patino, BA

Police Social Worker

Ashley is the Police Social Worker for the Villa Park Police department where she provides crisis intervention, case management, trauma-informed care, and short-term counseling to individuals, families, and groups within the community. Ashley collaborates closely with law enforcement and local agencies to ensure holistic support and resources are available to those in need. Her commitment to mental health and community safety aligns with NEDFYS’s mission to provide compassionate and effective care.

 

Before joining the NEDFYS Ashley interned at the Hoffman Estates police department as a social worker. Ashley was also previously employed at the Will County children’s advocacy Center as a bilingual family advocate and back-up  forensic interviewer where she provided confidential case management, support and advocacy to youth and children who have experienced abuse. 

Fun Fact​: In her free time Ashley enjoys outdoor activities that can include her 100lb  fur child Arlo.
